
H.264 support in Chrome and Firefox
In the middle of January, Google announced they would focus on supporting their own webM video codec, and through this removing the support of H.264. Microsoft Interoperability has released plugins both for Firefox and now also for Chrome, which takes advantage of WMP in Windows 7, when playing H.264 encoded video.
